Job Description

Bright People Foods is a fun, fast-past, and dynamic company centered around changing the nature of food in the US. We’re looking for a new customer service and community specialist who loves helping people connect with our company and learn more about our amazing foods! This person will work out of our Woodland, CA office and will work with online fulfillment, quality and marketing for both Mike’s Mighty Good and Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods to create the best possible service experience for our consumer and business customers. We’re looking for a positive candidate with a can-do attitude that can multi-task in a dynamic work environment. 


Job Responsibilities


-      Field incoming phone calls to appropriate departments and respond to customer inquiries about online order status, product attributes and quality, as well as general consumer suggestions via phone, email, and social media.

-      Represent the company in a friendly professional manner

-      Work with appropriate departments within Company to meet consumer needs

-      Work with Operations Manager and Shipping Coordinator to manage the online order fulfillment team within the shipping department to ensure that online orders get out in a timely and accurate manner

-      Investigate and respond to consumers about their orders and complaints

-      Track consumer comments and generate trend analysis reports

-      Collaborate with quality control and marketing to create product solutions around consumer feedback and learning from trends analysis

-      Ability to work with all types of people in a warehouse order fulfillment environment

-      Assist sales in the creation of online store promotions for consumer and wholesale customers in our online stores

-      Assist marketing in the creation and distribution email online newsletters for multiple company brands’ customers

-      Onboard first-time web order customers and manage relationships throughout customer relationship lifetime

-      Collaborate with marketing and tech support to optimize consumer online shopping experience

Job Requirements


-       2-3 years of related experience in a customer service position handling inbound and outbound calls and emails

-       Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both oral and written communications

-       Must have ability to foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, clients, and coworkers

-       Proficiency in Mailchimp, WordPress and Salesforce is preferred

-       Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other proprietary information systems is required.

-       Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Audition, and iMovie is a plus

-       Ability to lift 10 lbs and to walk long distances in a warehouse environment
