Job Description
  • Maintain and/or increase profitable sales growth within their region against assigned budgets and plans
  • Attain quarterly growth in the number of Grocery Channel Accounts
  • Conduct weekly sales activity and sales pipeline reporting
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to open new Grocery Channel accounts
  • Develop account plans to deliver against Company financial, sales and business targets
  • Effective management of the sales process and budgets for their region
  • Understand and make positive contributions to activities in other regions
  • Manage promotional pricing, distributor impact, account specific events
  • Understand and align brand strategies with account plans
  • Provide input on account capabilities to marketing in the development of brand and account strategies
  • Manage Grocery Channel Accounts in the region to include penetration of all levels of the account
  • Execute promotional plans within budget
  • Analyze available data to understand trends at the account
  • Manage communication to distribution providers
  • Direct distributors on account priorities and account specific projects
  • Attend and participate in webinars, conference call updates and email communications
  • Work with Marketing to develop promotional and marketing programs at the customer to drive short and long term growth
Job Requirements

  • Strong existing relationships with major grocery chain retailors on the east coast
  • Demonstrated experience in using implementation plans to drive sales success
  • Proven sales leadership and presentation abilities\
  • Distributor and broker management experience
  • Strong team orientation with interpersonal skills to support
  • Ability to collaborate with people in diverse functional areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
