Job Description

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for managing the Feel Good Foods regional sales team and developing retailer relationships within the East Coast region of the United States. This position will focus on maximizing the performance of the brand while working closely with both the sales managers and broker network. By overseeing the sales team, there will be an ongoing dialogue to ensure plans are implemented and execution is consistent with expectations. On-going responsibilities will include account management, overseeing of retailers and making sure the Feel Good Foods brand is achieving its annual sales goals.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee sales team to drive key sales initiatives and identify game-changing opportunities
  • On-going sales presentations to retailers
  • Communicate, in a timely and accurate manner, all trade plans to brokers, distributors, and the Feel Good Foods team
  • Work with distribution network and sales teams to track promotions on a regional level
  • Provide and implement strategic direction of sales initiatives
  • Provide consistent pre- and post-analysis of on-going performance by utilizing Spins data and broker/distributor sales reports 
  • Orchestrate all trade, distributor and sales shows
  • Conduct webinar conference calls
  • Manage all new product launches with sales force
  • Manage weekly calls of RSMs
  • Make sure all retailer presentations are up-to-date with data
Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field; plus three to five years related outside sales

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • Experience in leading a sales staff: Performed functions of training, developing, coaching, disciplining and conducting performance reviews of subordinates.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret general and financial business reports. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Experience and knowledge of customer service processes and operations
  • Ability to solve practical problems, manage and resolve a variety of situations
  • Knowledge and hands-on skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be available to travel 20% of the time

about Feel Good Foods

Food-loving celiac Vanessa Phillips and accomplished chef Tryg Siverson are the co-founders of Feel Good Foods. They met while working at a New York City restaurant – Tryg as Executive Sous Chef and Vanessa as a server who couldn’t enjoy staff meals due to her gluten-free diet.
