Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining best in class relationship with retail customers.  This person will have to be extremely detail oriented with ability to track all orders from PO receipt to delivery to ensure everything arrives flawlessly.  This person must have great communication skills with the ability to quickly, clearly, and concisely communicate with customers to exceed their expectations.  This person must also work very closely with the operations team and transportation to ensure everything is setup to meet the customer’s needs.  They must also be able to quickly identify, escalate, and resolve issues.

Job Description

  • Impress our customers (primarily retail buyers) by being a friendly, energetic, and dependable representative of our company.
  • Manage the receipt, entering, and customer confirmation of all orders received.
  • Closely track all purchase orders to ensure they are fulfilled and delivered to customers on time without issue
  • Send orders to our contract manufacturing facilities and work closely with them to ensure they are filled on time.
  • Manage the transportation pickups of orders and ensure they are picked up and delivered on time
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate potential out of stocks and shorted orders
  • Maintain existing and new item specifications such as dimensions, weight, and temperature requirements
  • Assist in setting up items and customers in our systems
  • Ensure all orders are accepted and created with the correct costs
  • Create and maintain important customer documents such as sell sheets
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand and meet customer needs
  • Develop and assist in creating customer sales reporting
  • Create and maintain UPCs and send to customers through various means such as DataSync

  • Ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues such as transportation delays and inventory out of stocks
  • Ability to quickly fix any concerns customers may have
  • Understanding of transportation pickups and scheduling
  • Understanding of purchase order creation and entry
