Job Description

This is a key role will report directly to the SVP of Finance and to help us to continue our rapid growth while improving profitability. The focus of this role will be to oversee the accounting, finance and payroll areas, with an emphasis on increasing the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes through a “continuous improvement” mindset.  This will be a highly visible and interactive role that will provide information to key management and have the ability to make impact on the overall business.  We offer a fun and dynamic environment, working with an experienced winning team!


  • Drive month-end closing process, preparation of financial statements, general ledger account reconciliations, P&L, inventory analysis and information required for the annual audit and preparation of tax returns
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, post journal entries and assist with the preparation of financial statements. Analyze General Ledger activity to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for
  • Handles all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties and related transactions. Ensures cash disbursements and collections adhere and comply with internal policies and GAAP
  • Ensuring and fostering an environment of strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP
  • Key point person within the Organization as it relates to accounting and internal control questions / inquiries
  • Prepare audit schedules and filing sales/use tax forms in multi-state environments
  • Monitor and manage inventory information at various stages of product development, including unit count and corresponding costing
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Preparing ad hoc reports and analysis as required

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance and Accounting related field, CPA is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
  • Possess strong critical thinking skills
  • Have a strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Prior experience utilizing ERP Financial Software (i.e. SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
  • Proficient using Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)
