Job Description

The Social Media and Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day social media and have forward-thinking approaches to a broader marketing effort.



  • Oversee, design and implement social media management and strategy
  • Manage all social platforms, including design aspects (e.g.: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc)
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging daily content (e.g.: original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Communicate with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Researches competitive products and marketing activities
  • Build brand loyalty, voice and messaging
  • Managing the agency(ies) hired to produce the tolls needed to support the Brand Consumer marketing message.  These will include creative, social media, POS, on On and Off Premise activation, and later traditional media.  
  • Collaborate with other teams, like sales, customer service and upper management to ensure brand and message consistency
  • Develop project creative briefs and manage agencies to ensure messaging and creative planning are consistent with brand strategy
  • Manages website and social site(s) development and execution
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Job Requirements

Exceptional skills in social media management

  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • A minimum of three (3) years of consumer marketing experience is required; experience in the food industry is preferred
  • Requires an open communicator with excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Ability to work exceptionally well in a team environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong project management skills
