Job Description

The Supply Chain / Order Fulfillment Management Specialist has the responsibility to manage retailer and distributor orders on a daily basis. They are the key link in communication with our operations team for ordering questions. The individual works closely with our sales, procurement, warehousing, and accounting departments to ensure that every order is entered and invoiced accurately and timely.


Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

 

  • Enter and process all incoming purchase orders - EDI, web portal based, e-mail
  • Validate all customer information is up to date
  • Ensure order accuracy, aligning orders with inventory levels; manage customer deductions
  • Ensure our logistics processes are efficient
  • Ensure all promotions and discounts are entered properly on all orders, work with sales staff and customers to rectify any discrepancies of all incoming orders and daily shipments
  • Provide daily updates on all incoming orders and daily shipments
  • Invoice all orders shipped, including managing EDI processing
  • Manage any backlog or changes to shipping dates as provided by logistics and the warehouse
  • Liaison with sales and accounting on all issues and inquiries related to order processing
  • Provide reports to sales and management, as requested, of product orders, shipments, and returns
  • Manage and enter return orders from customers, retailers, and consumers
  • Print case labels and other documentation that is required to ensure timely and accurate delivery of order fulfillment

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and ordering principles
  • Tech Savvy, EXCEL proficiency a plus - comfortable entering and retrieving data on web-portals, etc
  •  Basic knowledge of distributor, retail and e-commerce sales models
  •  Excellent math, organization, and time management skills
  •   Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  •  Customer service experience with superior phone skills
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
