Job Description

This Bar Saves Lives is looking for a Northern California Territory Manager who is ready to put boots on the ground and ensure that This Bar Saves Lives is available in all the must-go-to places that we don’t know about but she/he does. This person will love sales, love This Bar Saves Lives (and its amazing mission), and have an entrepreneurial spirit to build their territory sales. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of both Natural and Conventional channels as well as knowledge of other food service areas such as Hotel and Campus accounts.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the face of TBSL - skillfully understanding and presenting what makes TBSL different from all others. A true brand ambassador. A give back snack guru.
  • Build and manage relationships with new and existing retail buyers, distributors and broker partners in assigned territory.
  • Use their local expertise (and head, heart, and gut) to figure out all the must-go-to specialty stores, co-ops, hotels, colleges, natural food grocers, gyms, and other locations where TBSL should be sold, and then make it happen.
  • Manage and execute merchandising activities in the field, (i.e. store resets, managing team of Brand Ambassadors).
  • Set and execute promotional strategy in partnership with sales team and brokers.
  • Coordinate preferred product placement that coincides with promotional calendars.
  • Represent the brand and lead activities at industry tradeshows, such as the Fancy Food Show, Natural Products Expo, and distributor trade shows.


Job Requirements

Who you are:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience and have a well-developed understanding of the art of selling
  • A hunger to set goals and exceed them
  • Creativity, new ideas, and an open mind to the new ideas of others
  • Food demo experience (preferred but not required)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Superior communication skills - both oral and written
  • Travel 50%-70% give back
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
